Gamesfrenzy Games Rental
Established in 2003, Gamesfrenzy provide a very reliable game rental service and have plenty of satisfied subscribers. Their website has recently been upgraded from the simple design of the past, and they now offer a big increase in the number of titles with over 2000+ game titles to choose from.
They are now offering the same number of game titles for each console as Gametart, and their website has a similar design with the same links and search functions as Gametart on the left hand side.
We emailed Gamesfrenzy’s customer service to find out more and within a few hours got a reply telling us that Gamesfrenzy now use the same IT Technology as Gametart but both companies are run as separate rental services and that sharing the best resources from both companies has improved their overall service they can give to their members.
Customer Service
Gamesfrenzy deliver games out six days a week including Saturdays which makes their turnaround times of aproximately 1-2 days some of the most consistent of all the game rental companies. Although manuals are not provided, tutorials and links to more detailed information are provided online.
You can also pause your account for up to 3 months if you decide you want a break from renting games for a while or if you're simply going away on holiday.
Prices
The obvious difference being the two sites are Gamefrenzy's cheaper prices which work out at £2/week less than Gametart. Monthly subscriptions stay the same at £9.96 for one game out at a time or £13.96 for two games out, as compared to Gametart’s prices of £11.96 and £15.96.
All of Gamesfrenzy’s subscriptions allow you to rent an unlimited number of games per month and you can also buy rental games for up to 75% discount with their 'keep it' option.
Website
Their new look website has lots of new features, which include alphabetical listings, a top 20 games rental chart, genres, new releases, golden oldies, games from Japan and more.
1 Month Free
Gamesfrenzy don't currently offer a free trial but do offer great value with a whole months free game rental if you sign up to their quarterly plan.
